COMING SOON – Vitality: Iconic Images, Hidden Stories

Vitality: Iconic Images, Hidden Stories is an immersive exhibition at the Chinatown Storytelling Centre, running from April 11, 2025, to December 31, 2026. Showcasing Fred Herzog’s iconic photography alongside untold community stories, the exhibit explores Chinatown’s resilience, cultural vibrancy, and historic transformation. Highlights include a book launch, outdoor projections of Herzog’s works, and a collaboration with Equinox Gallery’s Capture Photo Festival showcase.

The Chinatown Storytelling Centre is home to Canada's first permanent exhibit space dedicated to telling the stories of the Chinese Canadian journey and the living heritage of Vancouver's Chinatown.

Artefacts, photos, and recordings from the 1880s to present day create an immersive self-guided storytelling experience for the whole family.
