OPEN NOW | Vitality: Iconic Images, Hidden Stories

April 11 - December 31, 2025

Explore the vitality of Chinatown and historic Hastings—two of Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhoods—between the 1950s and 1970s.

Featuring the work of renowned photographer Fred Herzog, known for his pioneering use of colour photography, Vitality blends captivating images with storytelling to uncover the hidden stories and memories behind his iconic photographs.

Offering a richer, more nuanced view of this historic community, the exhibition serves as a powerful reminder of what these neighbourhoods once were—and what they can become again.
